NEW YORK IS THE TRAINING GROUND

Since 2020, Youth Alive New York has hosted Ambassadors NYC as an immersive week of training and ministry.

Our home base is the New York School of Urban Ministry (NYSUM) in Long Island City, Queens. NYSUM provides lodging, meals, and meeting space, while Youth Alive New York designs and leads the ministry week through established relationships with churches and ministries across New York City.

Every student receives practical evangelism training and a FireBible: Youth Alive Edition, sponsored by Light for the Lost.

Throughout the week, students grow from participating with support to increasingly recognizing and initiating ministry opportunities themselves.

MORE THAN A MISSION TRIP

Youth Alive is the missional discipleship strategy of our youth ministries, helping students live as everyday missionaries where Jesus has already placed them.

What students learn and practice in New York City is meant to go home with them—to their schools, neighborhoods, friendships, churches, and everyday lives.

The goal isn’t simply to take students on a mission trip. It’s to help form students who live on mission.

SEND US OUT.

Not only into New York City for a week—but back into our schools, neighborhoods, churches, and communities ready to live on mission every day.
