After graduating from the University of Valley Forge in 1997, David Kim went on to complete his Master of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary in 2002. During this time he worked in New York City as a pastor and church planter where he also spearheaded multiple school projects in the US, Latin America, and East Africa. In 2011 he moved to Ecuador with his family to fulfill a calling to business as missions through the exportation of Cacao beans. After a life-altering accident in 2013, he returned to the US where he served as a church consultant. In 2015 he returned to the University of Valley Forge where he served as the chair of the Intercultural Studies Department, and later, in April of 2017, assumed his current role as President. He is passionate about teaching the gospel, discipling the next generation of followers of Jesus, and equipping the church to make disciples.
Jared currently serves as the New York AG youth and Chi Alpha director. Before that, he served for 10 years as a youth, college, and discipleship pastor in Long Island NY. Jared is the co-host of The Multiply podcast. He's been married to his wife Jen for 13 years and has two kids Judah and Charlotte.
